My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladykin and Crackerjack are a fantastic mother and son kitty duo who are in search of a new forever home together. We estimate Ladykin to be approximately nine years old, and Crackerjack is eight years old.

Ladykin is a petite white bundle of love; affectionate, outgoing, and friendly to all. She is a well-rounded kitty who loves to alternate cuddling with playtime. When she’s not basking in the comfort of a warm lap, she can be found madly chasing a laser light or playing with her catnip toys.

Crackerjack is slightly more reserved than his mom but is friendly and happy to meet new strangers who want to pay attention to him and give him love. He is a sweet-natured gentle giant who lifts and waves his paw to express himself.

Crackerjack and Ladykin love cuddly humans, lots of pets, and good belly rubs. Observing the world and outdoor squirrels and birds from the comfort of a window, eating, playing, and neighborhood strolls also make the list of favorites. Both cats are indoor-only cats, but have been leash trained and thoroughly enjoy being outdoors. Ladykin is the explorer who likes to lead the way while Crackerjack sniffs all the interesting scents and snacks on grass.

Ladykin and Crackerjack, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been spayed and neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Ladykin and Crackerjack, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
