My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eat, sleep, play and cuddle…is there more to life than this? Not for Huey and Louie. These handsome young tabby kittens know that being so tightly bonded makes them twice as fun, twice as cute, and twice as loving. And don’t worry about telling them apart, Huey has the white feet and Louie has the brown…errrr…we think.

Born on October 31, 2009, this pair may not have known a permanent home but they do know how to show affection. They both love to cuddle and are even happier if there’s space on your lap for one more! These guys are curious, energetic, and just plain fun. And if you love cats that purr-purr-purr, you should hear these two purring in stereo.

Although their personalities are still developing, there are some definite characteristics that are already shining through. Louie has never met a meal he didn’t like and couldn’t finish in five minutes or less. He also has taken to sitting on our laps and watching as we use our laptops. Huey seems to be slightly more inquisitive and a little more daring. He’ll be the first to follow you wherever you go. Louie is quicker to adapt to new situations, but overall Huey seems to be the more outgoing of the duo.

When it comes to playtime, they play with anything and everything that comes in a package, bag, or box (including the package, bag, or box). Got some string? A catnip mouse? A ball? Maybe even a game of tag? Why not!

Already have furry friends? That’s okay for Huey and Louie. They get along well with other cats and have no problem sharing their toys, warm spots in the sun, or the bed. They just want you to know that they draw the line at sharing their food. After all, being a kitten is hard work.

Huey and Louie, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Huey and Louie, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
