Tommy's Story...
This is Tommy, he was brough to the farm when the previous owner was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for him or his other 3 buddies. He is a beautiful cat and we are almost positive he is male, right now he is fearful and as the days go by we and he warms up to being with us we will check again when he is more open to handleing. The previous owner has said that he is very friendly once he warms up to you. He has never been around dogs so we do not know how he will react to them. He can be around older kids but I would not recommend little kids because when he first gets to a new home he is fearful. He gets along great with other cats. He is altered, declawed, and UTD on all shots. Very healthy and PRETTY!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tommy, a Wooster American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Wooster, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wooster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wooster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wooster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wooster paves the way for another one to be saved.
