Mr. Mittens's Story...
My story: Mr.Mittens is a Mr. Personality. He loves to rub noses and insists on being petted. Toy mice are his favorite. He's crazy about other cats and will make friends with anyone. Mr. Mittens was trapped by good samaritans Eli (10) and Emily (8) on Christmas eve in near freezing temperatures. The trap was watched carefully and once Mr. Mittens went into it for the can of chicken bait, the young volunteers approached carefully and covered the trap to keep kitty calm. Mr. Mittens has white boots in the front and white toes in the back. Please consider giving him a loving forever home. He will make it worth your while.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Mittens, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
