Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*MIA & BIJOU ARE BEING FOSTERED IN FRESNO*
Mia is a completely delightful little shihtzu girl who has a waggy tail for everyone (even the vet!). We think she's about 6-7 years old and she weighs 12 lbs. She has beautiful super-soft hair in shades of white and tan with a touch of gray on her ears. Also, you may notice in her photo, she has a lack of pigmentation near her left eye, and in the picture it looks swollen, but it's just an illusion and the vet said she is absolutely perfect!

She has beautiful super-soft hair in shades of white and tan with a touch of gray on her ears. Mia gets along great with other small dogs, but the big ones make her nervous. Of course her favorite dog is her sister, Bijou. Mia has some interest in the cats, but usually ignores them. Mia loves to go for walks and loves everyone she meets. She is a TDI Certified Therapy Dog who has worked with hospice patients, the elderly, and children. Mia is an exceptional dog and good with people of all ages.
So many people contact us looking for a companion for their existing dog. Finding the perfect companion is not always easy: you have to find the right size, the right temperament, sometimes the right gender, and you usually have to take your dog to meet several dogs before finding *the one* (and with the price of gas, who wants to do that?). Well here's your chance to avoid all the hassle and get them both at the same time! Mia and Bijou are best friends, and we all know two are better (and easier!) than one.
Although we do not consider these girls to be seniors (small dogs can live up to 20+ years), BIJOU & MIA ARE ELIGIBLE FOR OUR SENIOR DISCOUNT -- if you are over 50, you may adopt a dog who is 5 or over for half price ($125).
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Mia and Bijou, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on Adopt, which will take you to our online application form.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
