Brutus and Charlotte are a adorable bonded 18 month old pair that came from an owner turn in. They are litter mates and are absolutely beautiful red heads. Unfortunately, major family issues prompted the owner to turn over these little guys. They were loved and cherished by their former owner. They were both loved before, and we want nothing less for their new home.

Brutus and Charlotte both have very sweet demeanors and once they trust you and their surroundings, they become the sweethearts we know them to be. Brutus seems to be the little bolder one as he smells and gets comfortable with people quickly, but it always depends on the situations.

Brutus is a little bigger and tends to be a barker. We are working on that with him, and hope to break him of his habit of barking at shadows and the birds outside.

Charlotte is a little smaller and has a very sweet face. They need and deserve a good home, where there will never be a fear of them being taken away from one another and they can live and play and be happy with their new forever home and family.

They are both very playful and loving and are a bonded litter pair.

They both would do well with children 10 years old and up who has dachshund experience.

Tax deductible adoption fees for Brutus and Charlotte has not been set yet.

Brutus and Charlotte are both spayed and neutered are up to date on all of their shots.

If you are interested in adopting Brutus and Charlotte, please fill out an application.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. PLEASE NOTE: Any emails sent to us asking about availability or to adopt a dog without an application will not be returned.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a Garden Grove Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
