Chili is a very pretty red headed smooth dachshund turned over to us approximately a month ago. She was purchased from a "trendy" pet store, and after two years of living with her parents, they found that they didn't have as much time to spend with her. They wanted her to have a home where she would be the center of attention or would have a partner or children to play with her and keep her active.

She is a sweetheart. She has now been spayed and up to date on all her shots.

Chili will be a great dog in any home. She would be a good lap dog during "quiet times" otherwise, she is a playful girl. She is independent enough that she doesn't need to be "velcroed" to you at all times. She is playful and loving and would do well with a partner or by herself.

She would do well with children 8 years old and up only, who has dachshund experience.

Tax deductible adoption fees for Chili are to be announced.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. PLEASE NOTE: Any emails sent to us asking about availability or to adopt a dog without an application will not be returned.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chili, a Garden Grove Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
