Pugsley is a cutie pie. He was dumped in a shelter a few weeks ago, with his mother Ginger. He is approximately 1 year old as of March 13, 2010 . We have updated pictures of him up above.

Pugsley is young enough, where he would do okay by himself, but since being in rescue and being born Pugsley has had other younger dogs to play with so he is extremely playful and social. Meaning, a playmate would be preferred for him.

This little guy would do well with children 8 years and up with dachshund experience.

Tax deductible adoption fees for Pugsley has not been set yet.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. PLEASE NOTE: Any emails sent to us asking about availability or to adopt a dog without an application will not be returned.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pugsley, a Garden Grove Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
