Tootsie--PETSMART's Story...
UPDATE--You can now meet Tootsie in person at the Muncie PetSmart!! Tootsie is a beautiful young lady. Her long hair is gorgeous and she holds her tail up and over her back, sort of like a Pomeranian. Her approximate date of birth is 9/15/09. She is a real character!! She can be a soft, cuddly kitty, and then, in a flash, be "little Ms. Thing" and have quite an attitude. She is feisty and lots of fun to watch as she darts around, chasing anything that moves. She is pretty grumpy-growly with new cats but within a few days, that settles down. She loves to be on your shoulders as you walk around the house. She has even been known to leap onto your shoulder from the top of a piece of furniture! The one good thing about that is that she is very good about not using her claws when she does that. She is very soft footed. She would do well with older children and gentle dogs. Do you need a little "Tootsie" in your life??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie--PETSMART, a Muncie Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
