My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Ziggy and I'm a little love of a guy who has come a long way in a short time! I'm a real cuddler and a lover -- and my foster mom says I'm very well mannered! (I wait to be invited into your arms or onto your bed or couch.., and then I just sigh with contentment when you let me join you.) I'm also very smart and sweet and am anxious to please.

My foster mom says I get along well with other dogs and I am learning that people can be good and kind. This is all very new to me because before Bichon Fur Kids rescued me I was in an abusive home. But I've already forgotten those times and know that I will have many happy years ahead of me! I know a few tricks and like to show you how I sit up and beg for treats - and I can
do a bit of a dance, too! And I've learned how to chase! I love my foster bichon brother a LOT and really like to play with him (I find ways to get him to play with me, too!)

Mom says I respond warmly to belly rubs. (I don't know exactly what that means but when she starts I sure don't want her to stop! She says I just smile and smile when I get one. (That's because I've already learned how wonderful they are! See, that's why she knows I'm smart... and responsive.)

I have my own bed now, too, and I like to sleep in it. I never cry or complain - I'm just a good boy. Bichon FurKids thinks I'm about seven or eight years old and I'm in excellent health. I currently weigh about 11 pounds and, as you can see, I smile a lot and am a happy guy. I would do best in a family with adults or older children and I need to be with have small another dog - for I need, and thrive, on both human and dog companionship

All that I want to be complete is a family I can love - and who will love me in return. Please ask for me, I'm Ziggy, and maybe if I am very lucky I can celebrate the holidays with my forever family.
