Zsa Zsa's Story...
Zsa Zsa is a sweet 6-7 year old girl. She currently lives with a male and female Boxer and a cat. She is good with children. Zsa Zsa is house-broken, crate-trained, and also walks well on a leash. She is very friendly and although she has spurts of excitement as all Boxers do, she is calmer than many boxers and loves to just sleep (and snore!) at your feet.

She is a little heavier than most, at 85 pounds currently, but her foster parents plan to exercise her daily and watch her diet so that she may shed a few unwanted pounds. Zsa Zsa is an absolute sweetheart, easy-going, and really just wants to have a family to love her. She also has the most prettiest, loving, big brown eyes that really show her personality. If you are interested in adopting Zsa Zsa please complete an online application. She is being fostered by Whit and Hayley in the Greater Jacksonville Area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zsa Zsa, a Albany Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Albany, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
