Compadre's Info...
Important Note: Compadre is best friends with Violet. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Gray Or Blue (Mostly) | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Compadre was quite the latin lover during his time, and now he's ready to have a calm life indoors and be a wonderful boy in a nice home. He is about 2 and a half and was trapped in Washington Heights and was seen to be quite sweet, a little shy but we can tell he will come around soon to being an outgoing boy. He has been fixed and tested negative for FIV and FELV. He has really bonded with his friend Violet and we would prefer if they find a home where they can be together. Come and check him out now!

Rescue Group Info...
The Animal Project began as a rescue group to help all animals in the New York area. It has since developed into a great organization where we find homes for great pets every day.
Every Saturday find us at the PETCO on the corner of 92nd and Broadway from 2pm to 6pm, and you'll be able to meet and greet all of our wonderful adoptables then. We mostly have cats up for adoption but occasionally we do have dogs as well. So please come and join us!
Please come and visit our adoptables on Saturdays between 2:00 and 6:00pm at the Petco at 92nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan.
If you are interested in adopting, simply:
1. Fill out a pre-adoption form.
2. Let us help you choose the perfect cat or cats that are right for you.
3. Schedule a home visit to make sure your home is "kiity-proof" (safe and secure for cats).
We ask for a $125 adoption donation to help us cover the cost of vaccinating, neutering, and testing each cat for FIV and FeLV. We're strong advocates of the buddy system, and require that kittens under ten-months-old be adopted in pairs unless there is already a young animal in the home to serve as a playmate.
We have cats of all ages, shapes, sizes, and colors. The one thing they all need is a permanent, loving home. Nothing warms a home like a cat or two. Please come and meet our furry friends!
