Violet's Info...

Important Note: Violet is best friends with Compadre. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly) Age: Adult
Sex: Female Hair: Short

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Violet's Story...
Violet is a blossoming flower of a cat, she was trapped in Washington Heights and was initially saved because it was getting pretty cold out. Once we brought her in though we realized she was a very sweet soul, and although quite shy would be a great house cat for someone very soon. She is about 2 years old and really has bonded with Compadre and we would love to find a home together soon! She has also been tested negative for FIV and FELV. Violet is a great catch, meet this beauty soon.

About Our Rescue Group...
The Animal Project began as a rescue group to help all animals in the New York area. It has since developed into a great organization where we find homes for great pets every day.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Every Saturday find us at the PETCO on the corner of 92nd and Broadway from 2pm to 6pm, and you'll be able to meet and greet all of our wonderful adoptables then. We mostly have cats up for adoption but occasionally we do have dogs as well. So please come and join us!
Our Adoption Process...
Please come and visit our adoptables on Saturdays between 2:00 and 6:00pm at the Petco at 92nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan.

If you are interested in adopting, simply:
1. Fill out a pre-adoption form.
2. Let us help you choose the perfect cat or cats that are right for you.
3. Schedule a home visit to make sure your home is "kiity-proof" (safe and secure for cats).

We ask for a $125 adoption donation to help us cover the cost of vaccinating, neutering, and testing each cat for FIV and FeLV. We're strong advocates of the buddy system, and require that kittens under ten-months-old be adopted in pairs unless there is already a young animal in the home to serve as a playmate.

We have cats of all ages, shapes, sizes, and colors. The one thing they all need is a permanent, loving home. Nothing warms a home like a cat or two. Please come and meet our furry friends!

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
New York, Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, New Jersey, Connecticut
