Whiskers is a beautiful, FIV+, spayed, 8 year old, DLH/Maine Coon mix, black and white Tuxedo.  Whiskers was originally adopted out of the Fremont Animal Shelter (FAS) as an 8-week old kitten in April of 2002. We don't know what her life was like after that but she ended up back at the FAS as a stray with FIV and was due to be PTS.

She's a very sweet girl who loves to hang out in your lap and snuggle, so the volunteers at FAS called and asked us to take her. Whiskers needs a safe, permanent, indoor-only home where she can enjoy the love of a family of her own.

Whiskers loves to be held and cuddled. She's a solid girl who wraps her paws around your neck and hugs you back. She drools a little when she's happy and has been known to leave a wet spot on your shoulder after a long hug. We think it and Whiskers herself, are absolutely precious.
