MEET WONTON…. a 11-month old, 9 lb, Maltese/Shih Tzu, who is one of the cutest pups ever! He laid at the shelter with a broken leg, sadly his owner never came to his rescue. We heard about him, rushed him to the vet where he got his much needed surgery. Full of personality and enthusiastic charm, Wonton didn’t let that leg injury keep him down for a second! He has made a full recovery with a total clean bill of health and is now itching to find his forever home! Wonton is the epitome of affectionate, playful and loving! He is a funny, kissy puppy who will keep you laughing…esp when he meets you with a growl, a possible snip and then a kiss! Wonton wants nothing more than to be with you, playing and/or playing with another dog. He loves all his foster brothers and sisters – canines and felines as well! Wonton adores and is devoted to humans he knows. He can be a bit ‘grouchy’ when he first meets you, and may even try to bite you....but that melts away in 60 seconds. He thinks he is a guard dog!!! Playing is what makes him the happiest; he adores toys and will toss them in the air and retrieve them himself. He is a entertainment center all by himself….BUT he MUST have another dog/puppy to be his fulltime friend to romp and sleep with. His favorite sleeping spot is lodged between you and a furfriend in bed… and has even snored a time or two. Wonton is protective of his people and home. If he feels a stranger is in his territory he will bark to protect and may even snap -- but again, it almost goes away instantaneously. He is without fear, bold and quick to sound the alarm at suspicious noises both inside and outside of the house, but not to annoy. Wonton is totally housetrained (but we don’t like to guarantee) – if you show this ‘lil guy a leash and he will literally take the leash in his mouth and lead the way. He LOVES to go for walks. So a home where he will be walked/exercised is a must. If you have another young, small, playful dog….kids over 12 yrs old minimum…..a happy home you want to be even happier….what are you waiting for? Come adopt Wonton! Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
