Buttercup is a female, Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, 5 years old. She is friendly, loves gentle affection, and loves to cuddle up with a friend. Buttercup is a little dog who needs to be handled softly. If you play rough with her, she will nip. She would probable do best in a home without small children or only with children who know how to treat a pet respectfully. This little cutie was surrendered to the shelter, because her former owner can't afford to care for her anymore. Use ID# 4-6-2. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central.
