Lucky's Story...
Lucky is a very sweet, precious, tan Spaniel mix. She is about a year old and weighs 9 pounds. She is housebroken. She is a little shy until she gets to know you but is then a real lap dog. Her elderly owner was no longer able to take care of her. A perfect dog for someon who loves their garden as she does chase cats away and barks at dogs coming into her area. She has not been socialized with children and appears to have no interest in them. She may be happiest being the only dog or else with a passive, non-assertive dog. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. If you are interested in adopting Lucky, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Spring Valley Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
