Margaret is a sweet girl with a bit of sass and "cattitude" to her personality. She is friendly and outgoing, and loves people attention enough to greet new people as soon as they walk in the room. Margaret figures the faster she gets her people trained, the more love and attention she'll get! She is happy to cuddle and be a lap cat regularly, and is also fond of sleeping with her people on the bed from time to time.
Margaret is easygoing about things like nail trimming, but hasn't yet learned to be groomed (she likes to attack the brush!). She is playful but not kitten crazy playful, has a gorgeous silky coat that is neither short nor medium, but a little something in between. She has a lovely thick tail that she likes to swish from side, and often expresses her moods and thoughts. Margaret was born in May of 2009 and is a very petite girl that will fit nicely in someone’s lap.
Margaret loves dogs but is not fond of other cats and prefers to go to a permanent home where she can be an only cat. She has experience with and enjoys older children. Margaret the Sassy has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, so she is already to get to her permanent home and start training her people.
Margaret, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you are interested in meeting Margaret, please fill out the
"I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.
Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
