Luci Lu's Story...
Luci Lu is an adorable 9 month old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd. This is a favorite combination with our adopters. She is the perfect family dog, loving and sweet, focused and smart. She has the best of both breeds. She is 45 pounds and still has some growing to do. Luci is the kind of dog who just melts into your arms. She is easy to walk and knows the sit command. Luci would make a great family pet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luci Lu, a Los Angeles Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
