Danica's Story...
Danica is a cuddler and 1/2. She is the ultimate lap dog. Danica was born in April, 2005. Her mom is a pure-bred Cocker Spaniel. (You can see a photo of her on our Success Stories page, under "Emma".) While Danica is a sweet little lady, she is also a skillful hunter. Crickets don't stand a chance with Danica around. Point one out and you'll never see it again. When Danica is not busy saving the house from crickets, she loves to play with her toys and the other dogs and cats in her foster home. Danica is very people-friendly, as well. Danica currently weighs 40 lbs. and is still growing, although she won't get much bigger. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Danica's spay, vet exam, all 3 rounds of puppy boosters, plus we have kept her current on monthly heartworm prevention and flea control. Pups just don't get any more lovable than Danica. To give this little beauty a forever home, please complete our online application today at www.tassieshope.org. www.tassieshope.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danica, a Carrollton Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
