Niko's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Niko's Story...
Niko: 2 yr old black/tan male, neutered, docked tail and natural ears. 16", 17 lb. Shots up-to-date, heartworm negative and microchipped. Housetrained. AVAILABLE 1st Week in JULY but taking applications now.

We love this dog! He is soooo good. He loves to cuddle and be held. If he isn't curled by my feet, he is in my lap or in the bed under the covers. Niko is pretty calm for being such a young dog. He does like to play and romp with the other dogs and has even tried wrestling the cat. They have since come to an understanding; cat wrestling equals a hiss and swat on the nose. Niko enjoys going on walks and has nice leash manners. He barks at strangers but quickly warms up to them and makes them his BFF. Once they leave he is back in my lap and sheepish about sharing his love with someone else. Niko is a very good looking dog; well proportioned and handsome. Even he enjoys looking at his reflection in the mirror. He is also very intelligent. He listens intently to every word and will cock his head and lift one ear to make sure he understands every word. He recognizes that lights on the cable box mean "Animal Planet" is coming on so curl up and have a nice evening watching TV with the family. Niko will make a nice family dog. He likes kids and would enjoy going places with an active loving family. Send him an email today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niko, a Nashville Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
