Maddie's Story...
Maddie is a 3 month old GSD pup. She is very sweet, and gets along well with other dogs. When she arrives here she will be vaccinated and spayed. More will be posted about her, as well as better pics, once we get to know her!

Maddie must go to an indoor home where he will be an important part of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Our adoption fee is $250.

Note: Mid-South Shepherd Rescue is a no-kill, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter location. Our dogs are kept in foster homes as part of a family, to help prepare them for transition into their forever homes. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please contact us by clicking on the email address to your right. We will be glad to make arrangements for a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Nesbit German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Nesbit, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Nesbit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nesbit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nesbit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nesbit paves the way for another one to be saved.
