Candi is a gorgeous, gorgeous black lab female who is approximately 10 months old. If you want to adopt based solely on the looks, this is your girl. However, what you get will be a very beautiful, as we have already established, nice, wonderful, endearing, sweet, lovable and awesome lab. She has such a wonderful temperament and will do very well in an array of situations. She will make a great family dog in a family with children or she will be such a good companion for a single person. Candi would be classified as a medium energy dog, but is still young and will need appropriate exercise for a girl of her age. She will be great with an active family or person who likes hiking, camping, swimming, running, walking, or just to plain hang out and throwing the ball. She has what we refer to as the 'wiggle butt syndrome' whenever her foster mommy enters the room. She loves human attention and will do anything to please her people. She gets along well with other dogs and likes to play "come and get me". It is so fun to watch her run as fast as she can from her foster brother, Tobey, and her foster sister, Danni. Butts tucked and off they all go. I have not yet seen her actually get caught by them, but the chase scene is pretty hysterical. Candi is a tall slender girl weighing about 60lbs. She may grow a bit, but will definitely fill out that skinny body of hers as she is older. Candi will be good with cats, other dogs, older children (5+), men and women. Candi is crate trained and has good house manners. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is micro chipped, kept on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
