Calvin's Story...
Professional Snuggler Here!

Are you looking for a cat that wants to sit in your lap? How about a cat that wants to be held so it can nuzzle against your cheek? Well look no further!

The name is Calvin. I was brought to Paws because I was territorial and aggressive towards the other cat in the house. Well, there's an easy solution to that situation - make me the only pet in the home! I'd be more than happy being an only pet. I come across as quite shy at first, but I love receiving attention and cuddling with people. Hold me and I'll look up at you with loving eyes while I purr and knead my paws on your chest. Then I'll rub my nose and cheek up against your cheek. So you see, people are great - other animals, not so much. I think you get the picture.

I'm only 4 years old. I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations and I've tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Are you looking for a cat to help you de-stress? A cat who's going to be so happy to see you when you get home? A cat you can't wait to get home to? Look no further.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
