Spicy's Story...
We were so fortunate to pull these lovely schipperke girls from a commercial breeder. Although no dog should live only to breed, they seem to have been well taken care of and are sweet.. Spicy was born on February 6, 2009, weighs12 1/2 pounds and has a gorgeous chocolate coat. She is tailless. Spicy is Miss Social. She loves her person and is never far from you. She can be sassy with dominant dogs but once everyone knows who is boss , she's fine in a group. Spicy is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on shots, microchipped and has had a full veterinary examination. Even with all of that done, her adoption fee is only $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spicy, a House Springs Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
