My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cupid has quite a story. She was found shot with an hunter's compound bow, wandering with an arrow stuck through her. She was in shock and we were told she probaly would not make it. The arrow luckily missed her spine and spleen, but she did lose one of her kidneys and she lived.
Currently living at Mansfield Corrections in Richland County. Where she is part of the Tender Loving Care "Cell" Dog program, operated in conjuction with the Ashland County Humane Society. This is a 6 week program addressing basic obedience, socialization and even potty training if this a problem, and sometimes we even teach them tricks.

As with all Ashland County Humane Society animals, our dogs all have been neutered or spayed, micro chipped, wormed, Rabies, current year dog tag, and vaccinated. Adoption Fee is $125.

If you are interested in adopting any of the prison dogs, please contact Estill Tibbs, VOLUNTEER for the Tender Loving Dog Care Program, at 419-496-1303.
