Caitlyn von Lancaster's Story...
Caitlyn von Lancaster is a lovely 8 week old German Shepherd puppy. We're not sure if she's pure shepherd or not, but mom Chloe is a long haired shepherd. (pictures at the bottom of page)

Per Caitlyn's foster mom:
Sweet little Caitlyn is Miss Congeniality and such a joy to have in our home. The thing she loves most is to be held. She wraps her front paws around your arm and hangs on for as long as you want to carry her around. Caitlyn is such a happy puppy, friendly with everyone she meets and has the most wonderful personality. She isn't very vocal for a puppy. Caitlyn is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and she respects their positions in the family. She is well mannered, house trained & very intelligent.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caitlyn von Lancaster, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
