Ozzie's Story...
Hi Guys!! My name is OZZIE. I'm a 18 month old Pit Bull that's been looking for a forever home since April 7th! I am a VERY happy-go-lucky wiggle bum, and I love to cuddle. I'm good with other dogs and love to play. I do have a high prey drive though, so I can't live with any small animals. I love kids and to go for walks. My foster mom says that I like to jump fences, but if you like to look at things as half full, I'd be great at agility!! I am much cuter in person than in my pictures! Fill out an application to see for yourself!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzie, a Medicine Hat American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Medicine Hat, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Medicine Hat.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medicine Hat already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medicine Hat breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medicine Hat paves the way for another one to be saved.
