Spooky's Story...
Spooky is a female, shorthaired, tortoise shell calico who was born approximately February 22, 2005. She has a rather distinctly unique look with a stripe going down her nose. Spooky was given her name because when she was first found, she was rather cautious and had to be approached slowly. She will warm up to you, once she knows that she can trust you. Spooky loves having her tummy stroked by those she feels comfortable with. She is a playful cat and gets along well with other cats; other cats seem to not feel threatened by her, and Spooky has no fear of dogs. Her foster family feels that a home more on the quieter side would be the best placement for her. Spooky has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia. To meet this distinguished looking feline, please call 507-451-4512. (PI)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spooky, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
