Turbo's Story...
Turbo, is a 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is not like most Jacks in that he likes to sit beside you on the couch while you rub his belly. He does like to take daily walks but doesn’t like to be outside for long periods of time. He can be energetic but mostly he likes to sleep beside you or under a blanket when not with his master. He is a lovable dog who is very loyal to his owner. I rescued him from an abusive situation when he was a year old, and because of this abuse he does not do well around small children. Turbo’s ideal placement would be someone single or an older couple who could make him their “baby”. When he was four years old he had cataract surgery. He was totally blind but I am happy to say the surgery worked and he has been able to see for the past three years. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turbo, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
