Nina's Story...
Look at this absolutely adorable face. We are guessing that little Nina was born around the first part of March so we are giving her a birth date of March 3, 2010. Nina appears to be part Beagle and part cute as all get out. She is a bouncy happy little girl.

Update on Nina: When she came to us she had an issue with her right rear leg. She was taken immediately to the vet and she ended up having a fractured femur. She had surgery on 4/21 to repair the leg and we are very optimistic that it will heal properly and everything will be fine. There is a chance that this will not work and further surgery may be required at some point.

4/27 : Nina is doing great after her surgery. She is using the leg and so far looks like she will be just fine. She is such a tiny fragile little girl. She will need to go to a home where she can be the princess.

8/1/10 Nina did not require any further surgery on her leg. It is all healed and she runs like the wind. You would never know she ever had a broken leg. Nina is quite the ball of energy and would love to have a big yard to run and play in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Columbus Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
