Copper's Story...
This sweet guy is Copper. He is a very small toy poodle weighing in at under 5 pounds. He is 10 years old and sadly, his owner recently passed away. So now Copper is looking for a new home to spend the second half of his life. Don't let his age fool you, he still has great energy and has many good years ahead of him. Due to his small size, a home without small children would be best. To adopt Copper, please email Ellie at kentuckyanimals@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Somerset Toy Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Poodle for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Toy Poodle dog from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Poodle breeders who help with Toy Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
