Beau is an adorable 6 month Pit Bull who weighs approimately 50 lbs. This boy is a sweatheart who will thrive as a part of a family that can provide a good deal of exercise and some basic training.
Beau is a very outgoing boy who loves people!

Beau gets along well with other dogs - but is an energetic player, so is not a good match for a home that has an older dog. He would really love to have a young canine companion to play with in his new family.
Beau also gets along well with cats. He lives with a cat in his foster home - He does try to play with the cat, but stops when told.
Beau is an amazingly loyal and people-oriented dog. He sticks right by you and would make a fantastic hiking companion.
Beau also enjoys going swimming in the pond and playing fetch with tennis balls.
He is a very smart boy - who knows a few commands already (sit, lay down and high five).
He does have a few bad puppy habits which can be corrected easily with a basic obedience class - He does jump up when he meets people and to get your attention - he also likes to chew things - so he needs home that will provide a lot of appropriate chew toys.
Beau is also crate trained - and is crated when left alone in the home to keep him out of trouble:)
The ideal home for Beau would be:
-- One with another young dog to play with
-- One where he will not be left alone for long periods of time
-- One that will be able to give him a good deal of daily exercise.
A basic obedience class will be required as part of Beau's adoption agreement.
