Wednesday's Story...
Wednesday is a very beautiful, gentle, talkative, and sweet, four-year-old, female Siamese Calico cat looking for a loving home. Given up by her family to the Chicago Animal Care & Control shelter through no fault of her own, this sweetheart is about as loving as a kitty can be. She will crawl across your lap while you watch TV or sit in front of your computer monitor soaking up your attention as you type. She is extremely docile, and would do fine in a home with children. She has co-existed just fine in a home with small dogs, and she gets along with other cats as well, although she would be perfectly happy as your one and only. She doesn't need a lot of space, and would not mind living in a small apartment - as long as you are there to give her the attention she deserves! Wednesday's favorite hobbies are eating, talking and being petted and adored. Wednesday is healthy, spayed, had a recent dental, is up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested. Her adoption fee of $65 supports the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. To meet and possibly adopt Wednesday, please contact her foster mom Kathy at kbwilson60612@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wednesday, a Chicago Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
