My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there,

My name is Bree, or as my foster mom calls me, Beebers. I am a retired puppy mill employee looking for the love of my very own family. I’ve been here at my foster home for a couple of weeks and, while it’s true that I don’t have a lot of skills and experience outside of raising puppies, I am eager to learn and I’m not at all shy and cringe. I am a little tentative, but really I’m very curious and very happy to enjoy my new freedoms and comforts. My two favorite things in the world are showing you my tummy and cuddling for hours. Since I am so very tiny, I don’t think you’ll mind at all that I’ll be glued to your arm pit all night long. I also enjoy leisurely walks, where I have a chance to sniff each individual blade of grass, not that I’ve had one of these, my foster sister sets a pretty stiff pace. I get along fine with other dogs and I’ll cuddle with them too if they let me. As I get to know them better, I think I might actually play with them, cause sometimes I just feel like running around the yard. I am working on my housetraining and I know now that I’m supposed to go potty outside and I sleep through the night without any problems. I’m not so good at holding it during the day when you’re not home, but I think I’m getting a little better. Foster mom says whoever adopts me is a lucky family and I can’t wait for you to pet my tummy.

Update: I just wanted to let you know how I'm doing now that I'm getting used to being a pet beagle. I am discovering new things about myself everyday. For instance, I love treats and chews and even toys. I don't really know what to do with them to be honest, but I have a nice little collection started if you want to take a look.
