Comet's Story...
Comet is an adorable, fluffy, 3 month old Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever cross. He came in as a stray to the shelter and was never claimed, and is now up for adoption for some very lucky family!

He is a happy, healthy, and sweet little pup who will bring much happiness and fun into a home. He needs to go to a home that will teach him his obedience, let him go out and socialize, and let him leave indoors and be a part of the home. If you are ready for a puppy, and think Comet is as cute as we do, then go to www.utahlabrescue.com and fill out an application for him.

All puppy adoption fees are $250. If they are not already the rescue agrees to include the spay/neuter, all puppy vaccinations, de-wormings, and microchip. Don't forget the great discounts and free food at PETsMART, free health insurance, and discounted obedience training with every adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a Provo Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
