Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTED!
Frannie is a beautiful Beagle girl who's about 2 years old and weighs 23 pounds. She is current on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative (on monthly preventative) and microchipped.
She's an affectionate, happy Beagle that likes people but can sometimes be a little bit shy upon first meeting someone new. Once she's had a chance to get to know you she's all wiggles and wags! She's well behaved in the house, crate trained and very close to being reliably housetrained too.
Frannie is a playful, energetic dog that loves being outdoors. She likes going for walks and playing in the yard. She is capable of climbing over 4' chain link fence, but she only does it to be near her humans. Higher fencing will be required if she is going to be allowed to run off leash. We DO NOT recommend "invisible" or "underground" fencing. For most Beagles the temptation to follow their noses and run through it is simply too great.
Frannie is a delightful young Beagle with lots of love to give. She's looking forward to meeting her forever family and going home soon.
IMPORTANT: Safe Hounds Beagle Rescue does not operate a shelter where people can meet/adopt our dogs. All of our dogs are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters must submit an adoption application and be pre-approved to adopt. Once an applicant is approved, we'll begin a matching process--the right dog for the right home! Please visit our web page: www.safehounds.com and click the "Adopting A Beagle" link to read our adoption guidelines and to print an application.
Unable to adopt? Please consider sponsoring a Beagle. By helping us we can continue to make a difference in the lives of these deserving dogs. We have many hungry hounds to feed and are always in need of dog food and other items from our wish list as well as financial support to help us meet the needs of the dogs in our care. You can make a tax-deductible donation using the PayPal Donate button on our website! Safe Hounds Beagle Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
This pet requires an application and $250 adoption fee.
