Hi my name is Nala,
I am a 1-2 year old female blue weimaraner.
Nala is an approx 18-24 mos old purebred female weimaraner with a blue coat. Docked tail. She is currently 50 -60 lbs. She was surrendered to a shelter by her her owners because they said they were moving and had no room for her anymore.
Nala has been spayed. .
Please consider me for a forever home, I will give you years of laughter and love.

ADOPTING A COMPANION FROM HUSKY HOUSE NYC:

1. Adopters must be 25 years of age or older and reside within a 1 hour radius from NYC or Bridgewater NJ. We do not place in homes that rely solely on the invisible or electric fence as the sole means of containment.

2. The adoption process includes the following: . filling out an application, phone interview, appointment to meet the dogs(since we do not have a shelter to visit); homevisit (at your convenience) and contract.

3. Our adoption donations are: $200 for senior dogs; $275 for adults; and $300 for puppies under 6 months of age. . Some of our dogs for adoption are being boarded at a vets office or kennel. See above to see what other expenses this donation helps to offset. Adopters are also provided with 30 days of free pet insurance courtesy of Petfinder.

Adopting a friend from Husky House NYC means you will always have a godparent for your new family member should you need it. Whether it be for advice, assistance with some particular problem or just to share good news and or a photo. We keep in touch with our adopters. We insist that if at any point in the dog's life - you cannot keep him/her - that they be returned to us to prevent them from winding up in a shelter or worse.....No exceptions!! Please remember that all of our rescues have already lost their first (and sometimes second) home before they came into this rescue program. The overwhelming majority of the siberians we take in were intially found as 'strays' or were given up by their owners who did not educate themselves on the breed beforehand and then could not deal with their exercise needs.
