Al Pacino Jr.'s Story...
Let me introduce you to my other little friend!

Let me introduce you to my little baby friend, Mr. Al Pacino Jr.  Sweetie, but shy, needs an experienced adopter to work with him, loves to be rubbed and petted, will take an adjustment period but in the end will be a wonderful bonding experience.  Completely vetted and ready to go!  DOB:  3/31/09 I love my best friend Tony Bennett, we are BFFs!

All cats and kittens in our program have all been tested for FeLV/FIV/FHW, are up to date on all of their vaccinations, treated with flea preventative, socialized in foster care and are spayed or neutered prior to going to their new homes. The adoption fee is $100. Thank you for considering a homeless animal in our programs. We are an all-volunteer based organization eager to help you find your new best friends. We encourage you to visit our felines at Petsmart Greenville every Saturday and Sunday 1-5. The quickest and first step to adopting is to fill out our online application at http://www.marleyfund.com/adopt_application.aspx. Afterwhich, you will be contacted within 48 hours for further details.  We look forward to working with you and take pride in our matchmaking abilities and education on feline health care. We believe in the power of the foster network, where felines reside and are socialized in private homes. They get one-on-one attention, making transitions to their adoptive homes smooth and care free. Networking to find foster homes for homeless felines has enabled us to serve more animals, those with retroviruses, non-infected felines (negative) including seniors, and those with disabilities. Marley's Cat Tales is proud of our outreach programs and serves hundreds of felines and pet owners, we call the Marley Family!

About Our Rescue Group...
Marley Fund is a special rescue organization named after a kitty named Marley who passed away with feline leukemia virus in 2001. We are dedicated to those special kitties that carrying both FeLV and FIV, as well as noninfected kitties. We believe in feline health care and education in order to stop the viral cycles of retroviruses, as well as promoting basic good animal health care habits. We also care for non-infected kitties, as well as senior pets. All kitties deserve a chance to be happy in forever homes and we are advocates for them.

Marley's Cat Tales Program is the name of the adoption divisions of Marley Fund. We are dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals, providing education on responsible pet ownership, on FIV and feline leukemia, the importance of trap-neuter-release, and partnering with other rescue groups to help change the world for the animals to make their existence pain-free and full of love. We have healthy, medically up to date cats and kittens that are ready to fill your homes and hearts with love. These animals will fill your days with companionship and joy beyond what you can imagine. We also have special cats - those that are FeLV or FIV positive, or with special needs—needing extra care or attention.

Marley’s Cat Tales are comprised of a network of foster homes and other volunteers who rescue and care for the animals until they are adopted. We work in conjunction with other rescue groups, veterinarians and the community to educate regarding responsible pet ownership. We strive to provide a stress free environment for volunteers to assist in the goals of our division. As teamwork is a large part of success in helping the animals, we encourage collaboration with other rescue groups and veterinarians. To meet our ultimate goal—decreasing the number of stray animals and stopping the viral cycles of retroviruses—we recognize the necessity and vitality of teamwork to continue our efforts. We continue to work on expanding our educational programs on retroviruses FeLV & FIV, the need for testing to identify exposure, as well as proper testing protocol, responsible pet ownership, and the many ways to help the animals in need in our community.

Our Adoption Process...
Since Marley Fund is an all volunteer-based group and most of our animals are in foster care throughout the state of North Carolina, we take in applications via internet and email. We work hard to find the purr-fect match of pet and pet owner, once an application is approved we work diligently to finalize the adoption. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on distemper and rabies shots, have been treated with flea and mite preventative and wormed. Our adoption fee is $100.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Marley Fund serves cats from all over the state of North Carolina, we do not limit an animal by area. If we have room to help an animal in need we most definitely will.
