Benson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Benson's Story...
Benson is a 4 yr old mantle boy with severe allergies - top of the list is cats. His owners had 5 cats so the poor boy was in agony with skin and ear issues. He also had a severely swollen toe that was left untreated for 2 months because the owners had separated and the wife could not afford vet care. He has had 3 weeks of antibiotics and a pain management program and did have a fairly significant improvement as well as his skin condition improving now he is away from cats. An x-ray was done and the toe is not just broken, but snapped in half. Benson is having the toe amputated on May 14th and is expected to make a full recovery. Benson is in foster care and is doing very well considering. He is a very sweet boy and has been dealing with incredible pain. He can and does bear weight on the foot and is a much happier dog than what he was when he first came in. He is continuing on antibiotics and pain medication and is being treated for an ear infection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benson, a Beiseker Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Beiseker, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Beiseker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beiseker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beiseker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beiseker paves the way for another one to be saved.
