I am housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Quincey was about to be killeld in the shelter when we rescued him. he is just adorable and gentle. he was filthy and matted when we got him and after being groomed we could not believe how beautiful he really was.He came to us in serious condition and had a broken jaw. our vet felt that someone had seriously kicked him. We had to have his jaw wired, and unfortunately he will have to wear the wire for the rest of his life because part of his jaw bone is now missing. but it doesnt seem to bother him at all. he is not in pain and loves to eat.
he seems really sad, but with lots of tlc and good nutrition this little 10 pound guy will thrive. he is very active for a 12 yr old doggie! dont let his age scare you away! he is doing great in his foster home and getting along wonderfully with the other dogs!

We rescue primarily special needs, and senior animals from Los Angeles City and County Animal Shelters. The chances that these animals will ever be adopted out of the shetlers are very slim and we feel these little souls deserve a second chance at a forever loving home. Most of these animals are euthanized in the shelters. It is our mission to get them rehabilitated and make sure they get whatever medical attention they need, which includes blood panels, exrays, ultra sounds and whatever is needed at the time. Alot of the time these animals have been abandoned ,in critical condition and many times abused! We try to get them adopted into forever loving homes, which of course is not always easy. The ones that we cant place live out their lives with lots of TLC in one of our loving foster homes. We are always looking for great new foster homes!

There is an application Questionare, Tax Deductible Adoption Donation, Home Check, and adoption contract. Applications must be filled our prior to consieration of adopting any animal. It is not our intention to be invasive but rather to make sure we get the best match possible for the animal and for you!
