Bo's Story...
Bo has arrived at CBR-East! He is such a sweet and handsome boy. After spending his life helping with biomedical research studies, he is now ready to enjoy his retirement! :) He is the perfect mix of a playful pup and a mellow adult. Bo loves to play with toys; he pulls them out of the basket and plays with them one at a time until the basket is empty. Bo loves to go for walks and looks forward to his outings and all the interesting sights and smells along the way. After a little play time, Bo is ready to settle in for a nap on a cozy dog bed.
Bo gets along well with his foster brother and sister both canine and human! He loves to be loved and cuddled and will also just nap in whatever room you are in. If you walk by him or say his name he wags his tail at you without lifting his head up! What a cutie! Bo cannot be crated, but his house training is coming along well. With a little time and some patience, he will be 100%!!

Bo would make a great addition to your family. He friendly and happy and just wants to be loved!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
