Lancelot's Story...
My name is Lancelot and I'm as stunning a fellow as the legendary knight. I'm slim and slinky with golden eyes and a coat as black as ebony. Truth be told, I'm a bit of an enigma. Some days I'm a love and will do the kitty wiggle when someone sweet talks me. Other days I'm kind of grumpy. I adore some people and can barely tolerate others, and the same with other cats. Let's just say that I know my soul mate is out there, but it's going to take a special person to learn my ways and moods. I am, in a nutshell, mercurial. I'd prefer a home with no other pets because I don't like competing for attention. I'm special needs because of my unpredictable ways and because I have a heart murmur, but my doctor says that means I could grace a home for years to come or for just a little while. I do know that I would love to be someone's special guy for the rest of my life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lancelot, a McMinnville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McMinnville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in McMinnville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McMinnville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McMinnville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McMinnville paves the way for another one to be saved.
