Gino's Story...
Gino is a Aussie Shepherd mix brought to a crowded shelter after being found roaming the streets. apparently, this is not the first time Gino has escaped from home to end up in the shelter. His owner has bailed him out in the past but gave up on him after a while. Apparently, he works too much, kept Gino outside, and did not have a secure fence. Due to his breed, Gino is the kind of dogs who needs exercise and mental stimulations to be happy. His foster parents say that he's a great dog and he is adored. He is a lot of fun to be with and has a great mellow side as well. Gino would make a great companion to an active family who will stimulate him physically and mentally.
Gino is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gino, a Encino Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Encino, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
