Felix's Story...
Felix is a typical young male kitty: sweet, friendly and laid back. Lots of rescuers believe that male black cats are the friendliest kitties and Felix is ready to prove that as true!

Felix was born May 2, 2009 on the streets of Phoenixville. A kind-hearted person trapped him right before winter and he was neutered, tested and vaccinated. It was planned that he would be returned to live outdoors with the feral colony and so his ear was notched (the sign that he is a trap-neuter-return cat). However, the cold weather came and he had to stay indoors to recuperate from his surgery. During that time Felix became used the good life and also showed his sweet personality. He is definitely house cat material.

He is loving and playful and will bring lots of good luck to the family who adopts him.

Come and meet Felix at the Petsmart in Collegeville.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
