Julius Ceasar "JC"'s Story...
JC is a bouncing beagle boy who will make a great playmate for just about anybody! He is a calm guy unless he gets wound up playing! He is a beautifully marked tri-color, neutered, healthy male and he's about one year old. He is wonderful with older kids (over age 7) but he may be too spirited for younger kids. He knows some basic commands and is housebroken. He has most of the endearing beagle traits like kitchen counter surfing. He will need a family that truly loves and understands beagles. We are requiring a beagle experienced family for this guy and of course his new home must have a beagle proof fenced yard.

If you're interested in adopting Julius, please complete the on-line adoption application. Adoption fee: $250. He will come vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and a neuter certificate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julius Ceasar "JC", a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
