Fritz's Story...
Fritz is one of 7 pups rescued from being turned in at animal control.. He and siblings have black spots on their feet, so it looks Australian Shepherd to me. They are short . the man surrendering the pups told me the mom was a black lab...so go figure.
Fritz is 80% housebroken and uses a pet door. He was adopted out but came back because th eolder dog does not like him. He loves to sit in my lap. Born Nov 1st.
All vet work is complete..
You can visit him at adoptions on selected sAturdays in Huntersville.
The adoption fee includes: the spay or neuter, another distemper/parvo vaccine, and a rabies vaccine for just 85.00
IF interested you need to email "tritobin@charter.net" and complete an application. I will respond to you promptly, usually the same day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a Lincolnton Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
