Tupper's Story...
Tupper is a happy, energetic boy who loves to be around people and loves exercising with them even more! He is a smart pooch, so training him (he doesn't seem as though he's had much of it) should go smoothly. Thereafter, he will need constant stimulation and challenge, for left to his own devices, we feel this sweet dog will deteriorate mentally, like any dog left alone day after day. Affectionate Tupper loves to snuggle up against his person, seeking reassurance that all is well in his world. On walks, he is curious, sociable, and basically tireless. If you have an active lifestyle and a lot of love in your home to share, consider bringing Tupper into it; he will be ever-grateful, for sure!

Act quickly to adopt Tupper. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tupper, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
