My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE 7/19/2010: We still have some of these terrific kittens available for adoption. Please contact us if you are looking for a terrific, loving, and outgoing kitten to add to your family.
UPDATE 5/30/2010: Our first adoption from this group happened last weekend. Pepper was adopted to a wonderful home. However, sad news, we lost another kitten, Bethany, who was always the sickest and one of the smallest. She died shortly after her spay surgery. Her sister Cannoli recovered slowly but is doing ok now. Rosita, one of our tabby girls from this group, injured her leg in foster care, and will require a few months to heal, but the rest are ready for adoption. Benny and Bobby are 2 of our great boy kittens who will be at PetsMart and Murphy and Mayzie are just the sweetest pair of tabby and white brother and sister kittens you will meet. They are outgoing and love people and will also be at PetsMart on the weekends. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption questionnaire or visit our adoptable kittens at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville each and every Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm.
5/2/2010: At the end of February we rescued 18 kittens from the local shelter, saving them from euthanasia. There were originally 19 but 1 did not survive. They were left in a box and abandoned. 2 kittens had contagious respiratory and skin illness so the entire group was going to be put to sleep. These kittens have been strong fighters and are in various stages of their recovery from eye infections and skin infections. Rosita, Zoe, and Oscar are three of our 18 rescued with this group. They are also known as the tabby trio but us because all 3 are brown striped tabbies. They have been fostered together and can be adopted together, as a pair, or separate. They are used to other cats and gets along well with them but would also be fine as an only cat as long as they have lots of human attention and love. All 3 have been kept indoors and are very loving and affectionate. They have been in a foster family with gentle children as well as other cats and dogs so we know they will make any family happy. If you are interested in adopting one of our tabbies or any of our other special kittens, please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for more information about our adoption process and an adoption form. You can also visit us at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-5pm each Sat and Sun and speak to our adoption coordinator, Robin. All of our cats and kittens have been vet checked, leukemia tested, vaccinated, dewormed, fecal parasite tested, treated for flea and parasites with advantage multi, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
