Brilliant, Marquis, and Emeral's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Brilliant, Marquis, and Emeral's Story...
Brilliant, Marquis, and Emerald are the three remaining kittens from Lucy's Litter of five Diamonds. At 6 weeks, they are just being weaned and will be ready for adoption in the next week or so. Because these kittens are less than 14 weeks old, we allow them to live at the adopter's house, but we retain custody of them until they've been neutered so that we can assume responsibility for the vetting. Kittens this young need to be adopted in pairs because they need each other's company.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brilliant, Marquis, and Emeral, a Alexandria American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
